New CU07-2024: next level performance

The latest release CU07-2024 of BPA Apps has been published! If you’re not on CU07-2024, please make sure to upgrade your app package to the last published CU in the community portal and ask your SharePoint administrator to perform this update.

Since 2024, we are releasing bi-monthly new versions, CU01 (January), CU03 (March), etc. Versions are usually available 2-3 weeks after the start of the following month, e.g. February 15-20 for CU01, April 15-20 for CU03, etc.

Make sure to have your BPA App/IT Administrators subscribed to this Inspired Newsletter in order to be notified when new packages are released, which require you to update the app package, usually CU03 in April and CU09 in October.

Listed below are the new features available in 2024 (included in your subscription). To access each release details, please check the release notes in the community portal.

• The Step Form brings an enhanced experience when working with multiple step workflows, as document approval or nonconformity handling.
• Rules can be applied on forms to set sections, tabs, columns as required, collapsed and read-only based on other columns (dynamic form conditions).
• Hyperlinks can be added in form message box (e.g. to access a procedure).
• Many new chart types are available for reporting, as bar, radar, pareto, gauge, heatmaps and more.
• A button has been added to view and compare document/item history versions side by side and simplify version audit trail.
• A new button to copy and move documents/items is available.
• A new button to download files has been added.
• Forms can be prefilled with dates and persons, e.g. date = today, first day of the month…, assigned to = me.
• New tools have been designed to migrate BPA Apps.
• The location column is now supported in BPA Apps.
